My Friends,
We are slowly getting back to “normal”. Our beautiful Church is opened. We have confessions; we now have weekday Masses and weekend Masses are just beginning with the beautiful feast of Corpus Christi. This is something you and I have been anxiously awaiting and it couldn’t come soon enough.
I look forward to seeing you, even if it’s from afar.
God Bless,
Father John
On this feast of St. Anthony of Padua, we pray.
St. Anthony, pray for us!
When we hear the word, inheritance, we usually think in terms of money, jewelry or even maybe houses.
The refrain from the Responsorial Psalm says: You are my inheritance, O Lord. What do we get for this inheritance? The Psalmist spells it out. He says: refuge, counsel, someone who will never abandon us no matter what.
In Jesus we have someone who has concretely shown us just how much we mean to Him by giving His very own life for us on the Cross.
This inheritance is not given to one or two of us; it’s given to all without exception because your God and mine loves without exception.
